Sin Sol is an Augmented Reality art game that presents the narrative of wildfires triggered by climate change, unfolding through an AI hologram known as Aura. The game immerses users in the emotional landscape of a climate crisis event, offering a poetic tale narrated by Aura to convey the harrowing experience of enduring wildfires born from climate change. This interactive experience delves into the intricate relationship between personal trauma and environmental devastation, exploring the profound connection between the suffocation of air quality and the devastation caused by climate-induced wildfires. Set fifty years ahead, Aura recounts the tale of ecological collapse from a time that mirrors our current reality in 2020.

Crafted as both an environmental archiving initiative and a gameplay experience, Sin Sol meticulously incorporates authentic 3-D scans of contemporary forests in the Pacific Northwest, adding depth and realism to its virtual environments. Encouraging a narrative of collective survival and unity across species, players accompany Aura's loyal companion, Roja, in a quest to evade wildfires and locate oxygen capsules containing poetic fragments that enrich the evolving storyline.

Sin Sol is optimized for outdoor settings, inviting players to move through physical spaces as they progress through the immersive narrative unfolding within the game.
